Rega

Rega have been making hi-fi in Southend-on-Sea since 1973. What started with a single turntable has grown into one of the most coherent ranges in British audio — covering turntables, cartridges, tonearms, amplifiers, phono stages, CD players, and DACs, all designed and built in Essex.

Turntables

The Planar range is the heart of what Rega do. From the Planar 1 — the ideal starting point for anyone serious about vinyl — through to the Planar 6 RS Edition and beyond, each deck is engineered around the same principle: reduce mass, eliminate interference, and let the music through. The Planar 2 and Planar 3 RS Edition sit between them, each offering a meaningful step up in performance.

Amplifiers

The same philosophy runs through Rega's electronics. The io integrated amplifier is a natural partner for a Planar 1 or Planar 2, while the Brio MK7 offers more power and refinement for those ready to go further. At the top of the range, the Mercury pre-amplifier and Solis power amplifier represent Rega's reference statement.

Cartridges & Phono Stages

Rega make cartridges to match every deck in the range. The Carbon MM Cartridge is fitted as standard to the Planar 1 and Planar 2; the Nd7 and Nd9 offer moving magnet performance at a higher level; and the Apheta 3 is Rega's moving coil cartridge for those seeking the finest detail from vinyl. The Aria Mk3 phono stage is the natural companion for any serious Rega front end.
