Vitus Audio was founded in 1995 by Hans Ole Vitus, a Danish engineer whose pursuit of perfect musical reproduction has remained the defining principle of the company from its first product to its latest. Every amplifier, preamplifier, phonostage and digital source that leaves the Vitus facility in Odense is built to a single standard: no compromise.

What sets Vitus Audio apart from the broader high-end market is the completeness of its engineering philosophy. Hans Ole Vitus designs each component — from the transformer windings to the circuit topology — with the goal of disappearing entirely from the signal path, leaving only the music. The result is electronics of exceptional resolution and authority: components that reveal detail, timing and dynamic truth at a level that redefines what is possible in domestic hi-fi.

The Vitus range spans from the entry-level RI-101 integrated amplifier — itself a formidable machine by any measure — through the SIA-025 and SIA-030 integrated amplifiers, to the flagship Reference and Masterpiece series, where cost is genuinely set aside in favour of the absolute. Each product is built in Denmark by hand, to tolerances that reflect the seriousness with which Vitus approaches its work.
