Stillpoints Isolation Products
Stillpoints make some of the most rigorously engineered isolation products in high-end audio. The range is built around a single principle: that mechanical energy — vibration, resonance, structure-borne noise — is one of the most damaging and least-addressed sources of interference in a hi-fi system. Stillpoints products work to drain that energy away from your equipment, allowing the components in your system to perform closer to their potential.
The technology centres on ceramic ball bearings housed within machined stainless steel bodies. As vibration passes through the unit, it is converted into heat through a process of friction between the bearing surfaces — energy that would otherwise return to the component as distortion is effectively dissipated. The result is a quieter noise floor, improved low-level detail retrieval, better imaging, and a more stable, focused soundstage.
We stock the full Stillpoints range, from the Ultra Mini — an affordable entry point for smaller components — through to the Ultra 5, Ultra 6, and Ultra 7 V2 for high-mass loudspeakers and the most demanding applications. The ESS Rack system brings the same isolation philosophy to equipment support, providing a complete rack solution built from the ground up with Stillpoints technology at every level.
The Aperture II acoustic panels extend the range into room treatment — addressing the reflective environment around your system with the same methodical approach Stillpoints apply to mechanical isolation.
Dave and Chris can demonstrate Stillpoints products in our Norwich showroom at 85–91 Ber Street. Hearing what isolation does to a system you already know is the most convincing argument there is.
Martins Hi-Fi has been in Norwich since 1968. Elizabeth Gould runs the business today, and we stock only brands we have heard properly and stand behind.
