Collection: Bowers & Wilkins

Bowers & Wilkins has been making loudspeakers in England since 1966, when John Bowers began assembling speaker systems in the workshop of his electronics shop in Worthing. More than half a century later, the company remains one of the most recognisable names in high-fidelity audio — and one of the most technically ambitious.

Martins Hi-Fi is the second oldest Bowers & Wilkins dealer in the world. That relationship goes back further than most people realise: two years before Mike and Ted founded Martins Hi-Fi, John Bowers was already building speakers in Worthing. We have sold, demonstrated, and lived with Bowers & Wilkins loudspeakers across every generation of the range — from the original 801 to today's 800 D4 Series — and we know this brand as well as any dealer anywhere.

What distinguishes Bowers & Wilkins is a refusal to accept compromise at any price point. The 800 D4 Series sets a new standard for what a domestic loudspeaker can achieve: the Continuum cone midrange driver, the Biomimetic Suspension, and the solid-body Turbine Head enclosure are not marketing language — they are engineering solutions to specific acoustic problems, each one developed over years of research and measurable in the listening. Further down the range, the 700 S3 and 600 S3 Series bring the same design philosophy within reach of a wider audience without diluting what makes Bowers & Wilkins sound like Bowers & Wilkins.

You can hear the full range at our Norwich showroom. Our team will help you find the right speaker for your room, your system, and your music — and we stock the stands, cables, and electronics to match.
