Naim Audio was founded in Salisbury in 1973 by Julian Vereker, and the company has been making amplifiers, streamers and all-in-one systems in Wiltshire ever since. The sonic philosophy that Vereker established — music reproduced with pace, rhythm and timing at its absolute centre — runs through every product Naim make, from the entry-level Mu-so wireless speaker to the Statement reference amplification system.

That commitment to timing is not an abstract quality. Naim design their circuits, their power supplies and their mechanical layouts around the conviction that the rhythmic structure of music is what makes it emotionally engaging — and that most hi-fi systems, however technically capable, lose something in that dimension. Hearing a properly set-up Naim system for the first time is frequently the moment people understand what that means in practice.

The Mu-so and Mu-so QB second generation wireless speakers bring Naim's musical sensibility to a single-box, room-filling format.
