Naim Power-Line Mains Cable
The Power-Line is Naim's premium mains cable — a 2-metre cable designed to replace the standard mains lead on any Naim component. It uses 4mm² copper conductors with individual dielectric insulation and a rubber outer sheath chosen for its mechanical damping properties. Both the mains plug and the IEC inlet plug are purpose-designed: the mains plug uses a thermoset resin case with floating pins for electrical contact and decoupling; the IEC plug features floating contacts, combined decoupling and clamping, double wiper contacts, and eddy current suppression.
Naim's position is that the mains cable is part of the component, not a commodity accessory. The Power-Line is the result of applying the same attention to materials and mechanical design to the mains connection that Naim applies to everything else in the signal chain.

Who Is It For?
The Power-Line is appropriate for any Naim component — the higher the level of the component, the more the improvement in mains connection quality tends to be audible. It is typically used on amplifiers and source components first. For those who want mains cable improvement at lower cost, Naim's Power-Line Lite incorporates the same decoupling techniques at a reduced price point.
