Naim Audio Uniti Nova
For those who want a serious system without a rack full of separates, this is where the argument ends.
Streaming and Sources
The Nova covers every major streaming platform: Spotify Connect, TIDAL, Qobuz, Apple AirPlay 2, Chromecast, and Bluetooth are all on board, as is Internet Radio and UPnP. Roon Ready certification means it slots straight into a Roon library without compromise. Wi-Fi runs on 802.11a/b/g/n/ac with an internal antenna patented and integrated into the heat sink — a neat piece of engineering that keeps the casework clean. Wired Ethernet at 10/100Mbps is available for those who prefer a hard connection.
Local storage is supported via USB — up to 1TB on an external portable SSD, or up to 128GB on a USB stick, with capacity for up to 20,000 tracks. The Nova can also serve stored music to other network-connected players.
A DAB/FM module is available as an option.
Digital and Analogue Connectivity
On the digital side: two optical TOSLink inputs (up to 24-bit/96kHz), one RCA coaxial and one BNC coaxial (both up to 24-bit/192kHz, with DoP 64Fs support). Analogue inputs run to two 5-pin DIN sockets and two RCA pairs. Outputs include a 4-pin DIN, an RCA pair, and a 3.5mm headphone jack — the last of these a thoughtful addition on a product at this level.
Audio formats supported span WAV up to 32-bit/384kHz, FLAC, AIFF and ALAC up to 24-bit/384kHz, DSD 64 and 128Fs, MP3, AAC, OGG, WMA and M4A. Gapless playback is supported across all formats.
The Nova is controlled via the Focal & Naim app on Android or iOS, a 5-inch colour LCD display with rotary volume control and proximity sensor, and a Zigbee RF bidirectional remote. Multiroom is supported natively — the Nova can sync with up to six Naim streamers simultaneously in Party Mode.

Who Is It For?
The Uniti Nova is for the serious listener who wants a single, well-engineered component rather than a stack of boxes — but who will not accept a compromise on sound quality to get there. It suits a dedicated listening room or a main system where the Nova does everything, paired with a capable loudspeaker. Those building towards a full Naim separates system will find the Nova a natural starting point — and an excellent end point for many.
Buying from Martins Hi-Fi
Martins Hi-Fi has been in Norwich since 1968. Elizabeth Gould runs the business today, and we stock only brands we have heard properly and stand behind.
You are welcome to hear the Naim Audio Uniti Nova demonstrated at our Norwich showroom — bring your own music and we will show you what it can do. When you get in touch, you'll be speaking with Dave and Chris — experienced specialists who can advise on this product and your whole system.
We supply the Nova with the Naim Power-Line Lite as standard; an upgrade to the Naim Power-Line is well worth considering, as is running it with Naim NAC A5 speaker cable. Contact us at info@martinshifi.co.uk, call 01603 627010, or WhatsApp on 07554 687137. You can read more about how we work on our Why Martins Hi-Fi page. We are at 85–91 Ber Street, Norwich, NR1 3EY.
