Naim NAC A5 Speaker Cable

The NAC A5 is Naim's own speaker cable, designed specifically for use with Naim power amplifiers. It uses twin separated 4mm² conductors — two independent cables rather than a single twin-core construction — a configuration that reflects Naim's specific requirements for cable inductance and capacitance relative to their amplifier output stage designs. Naim amplifiers have been voiced and specified with NAC A5 in mind; using it is not obligatory, but it is the baseline against which Naim measures their amplifiers' performance.

The cable is sold per metre and terminated to order. If you are purchasing with a Naim amplifier, we will cut and terminate to the length you require.

Who Is It For?

The NAC A5 is the natural choice for any Naim power amplifier — NAP 250, NAP 350, or any earlier model. It is also a sensible choice for non-Naim amplifiers where a high-quality, low-capacitance cable is appropriate. If you are buying a Naim amplifier from us, NAC A5 is worth including in the order at the correct length for your room.
