Rega Replay Turntable
Rega make the Replay as their entry point into genuine high-fidelity vinyl playback — a turntable that took three years to refine and carries the same handmade-in-the-UK approach found throughout the range. It sits below the Planar 1 in terms of complexity, but not in terms of intent: the Replay is designed to be set up in under a minute and to reward the listener from the very first record.
RB110 Tonearm
The RB110 is hand-assembled using Rega-designed, bespoke, ultra-low friction bearings — a patented design. The bias setting is factory pre-set and non-adjustable, removing one of the more anxiety-inducing steps in turntable setup. The headshell has been redesigned for improved usability and appearance, and a 111g plug-and-play balance weight is included. Setup amounts to pushing the balance weight onto the rear of the arm as far as it will go — no balancing, no second-guessing.
24V Synchronous Motor
Replay uses a bespoke 24V synchronous AC motor module — low noise and low vibration. The module integrates a new PCB, a CNC-machined aluminium pulley, a power switch, power input, rear foot and inbuilt ventilation into a single self-contained unit. Speed selection between 33⅓ and 45 RPM is via manual belt repositioning.
Plinth and Platter
The plinth is a high-rigidity, laminated, low-mass skeletal design with a black MDF core — a construction that keeps unwanted resonance away from the playing surface without adding unnecessary weight. The platter is a 23mm phenolic resin design, chosen for its flywheel effect and the speed stability that brings.
Central Bearing Housing
The main bearing housing is brass, offering improved fit and removing stress on the bearing itself, whilst minimising the transfer of potential energy (patent pending).
Carbon Cartridge
The Rega Carbon cartridge is supplied fitted as standard. Each cartridge is meticulously fitted and perfectly aligned to guarantee optimum performance straight out of the box. The stylus is replaceable. If you want to move up the cartridge range later, the Rega Nd5 Moving Magnet Cartridge is a natural next step, and the Rega Carbon MM Cartridge is available as a spare or replacement.
Isolation
Rega's latest foot assembly design increases stability and reduces vibration transfer from the supporting surface — an often-overlooked factor at this level.

Who Is It For?
The Replay is for anyone who wants to play vinyl without a lengthy setup process and without worrying about whether everything is correctly configured. It suits a first turntable buyer who wants genuine Rega engineering at an accessible price, and equally suits someone returning to vinyl who wants a reliable, no-fuss deck. It is not a turntable for those who want to adjust VTA, tweak bias or swap tonearms — Rega have made those decisions already, and correctly.
For those who outgrow it, the path upwards is clear: the Rega Planar 3 represents a significant step forward and is well worth hearing by comparison.
