Silent by Design

The Mini Terra Prime's architectural-grade steel chassis is cooled entirely by natural convection — a mosaic vent pattern draws air through the unit without any fan whatsoever. The result is a server that can live in a living space, behind a display, on a shelf, or rack-mounted without adding any acoustic signature to a quiet room. Installation is genuinely flexible: the Mini Terra Prime ships with feet attached, accepts wall mounting in any orientation, and can be combined with a rack-mount kit (KMOUNT-MINI, sold separately) to seat one or two units in a standard 19-inch rack at 1U.

It supports up to 25 simultaneous 4K playbacks to network-attached Strato movie players, making it a credible choice for installations that go well beyond a single room. The two internal SSDs operate with dual redundancy: if one drive fails, the server continues without interruption, and any movies stored on the failed drive are automatically restored from the Kaleidescape store. Nothing is lost.

Scales With Your System

The Mini Terra Prime runs Kaleidescape's kOS operating system, updated automatically. It supports 8K, 4K Cinematic, 4K Dolby Vision, 4K HDR10, 4K SDR, HD, and SD content from the Kaleidescape movie store — the full range, including the platform's highest-quality 4K Cinematic tier. For larger libraries, up to four Terra servers can be grouped into a single system, scaling storage across the collection as it grows.
