Designed to offer cutting-edge features at an affordable price, the PH-5 is perfect for every kind of analogue system.

With a single RCA input, the PH-5 can connect to either MM (Moving Magnet) or MC (Moving Coil) cartridges. It offers a selection of EQ curves—RIAA, Decca London, and American Columbia, each with an Enhanced option—allowing you to tailor the sound to match your vinyl records perfectly. Additionally, the PH-5 provides LOAD and GAIN adjustments, ensuring the utmost flexibility and versatility in your analogue setup.

The PH-5 is the first Gold Note product to feature a touchscreen interface. This user-friendly display makes all settings easily accessible and changeable in real-time while playing music. The intuitive interface allows you to select and manage options effortlessly, enhancing your listening experience with seamless control.

The PH-5 integrates a completely new design that combines a digital interface with a full analogue heart. The signal path is constructed using discrete audio-grade components and sealed single switches, optimized to minimize interference and shorten the distance for signal transmission. Each setting selected via the touchscreen is applied to the audio signal through relé switching, maintaining "analogue purity" for superior audio quality.

The PH-5 allows you to choose the most appropriate equalization curve for each vinyl record directly on the touch display. The available curves—RIAA, Decca London, and American Columbia—can be "Enhanced" to extend the frequency response up to 50kHz. This proprietary technology, inspired by Georg Neumann’s famous Disc Cutting Lathe, improves the stage, dynamics, and resolution, delivering an even more immersive listening experience.

To maximize the performance of the PH-5, Gold Note offers a dedicated, external super inductive power supply. This upgrade allows the phono stage to reach its fullest potential, enhancing musical realism, dynamics, and soundstage depth, offering an unparalleled listening experience.
