Innuos Stream3
The Stream3 is Innuos' flagship music streamer and server, sitting at the top of the Stream series and designed for those who want reference-grade digital playback without compromise. At £6,150, it includes the Innuos STREAM Remote at no extra cost. Pair it with an external DAC for the cleanest possible signal, or add the optional PhoenixDAC module for a fully integrated, high-end streaming solution.
ARC6-CX Linear Power Supply
The ARC6-CX is an integrated power module that combines 132,000μF of Mundorf capacitance with active rectification and CX power regulation on a single board. It draws from a 300VA toroidal transformer filtered through medical-grade AC conditioning. The result is an exceptionally low-impedance, ultra-clean power supply — one of the most significant contributors to the Stream3's performance.
Premium Chassis Construction
The Stream3 is housed in a 10mm thick CNC-machined aluminium chassis, bead-blasted and anodised for a finish that is as purposeful as it is elegant. The mass and rigidity of the enclosure provide effective vibration damping and electromagnetic shielding. A 4mm grounding port is included for those who wish to explore further noise reduction. Available in black or silver.
Processing and Performance
The Stream3 runs on a new mainboard built around 13th Gen Intel Quad-Core processing with 8GB of industrial-grade DDR5 RAM. Innuos states this delivers over 200% faster processing than the previous generation. The operating system runs on a dedicated TLC power-loss protected SSD with Real-Time Kernel technology, derived from the ZEN Next-Gen series, keeping latency low and the system responsive.
Optional Storage and CD Ripping
The Stream3 can be specified with M2 NVMe SSD storage in capacities of 1TB, 2TB, or 4TB — factory fitted or user-installed. Adding storage unlocks full music server functionality within the Sense app, including enhanced library management. Connect a USB optical drive and the Stream3 will rip CDs directly to its internal storage through Innuos' customised ripping engine.
Connectivity
The Stream3 features 2.5Gb Ethernet with a bridged streamer output for connecting additional network devices, USB-C for high-speed drives, DACs, or device charging, and a full complement of outputs determined by your choice of output module. All outputs are optimised to preserve signal integrity from source to DAC.
Modular Output Boards
One of the Stream3's defining features is its modular output architecture. Choose the board that suits your system:
PhoenixUSB Board
A regenerated, reclocked USB output to your DAC using a high-precision 3ppb 24MHz OCXO clock. Ultra-low noise LT3045 linear regulators power each independent voltage rail, and the board provides a pristine 5V line to your DAC's USB input.
SPDIF Board
Coaxial, optical, and AES outputs supporting PCM up to 24bit/192kHz. Optimised power supply and high-quality gold-plated connectors throughout.
PhoenixI2S Board
Direct I2S connection to compatible DAC chips, bypassing additional conversion stages. A 3ppb 24MHz main clock with two FemtoClocks, HDMI connector with eight pin configurations, and compatibility up to DSD1024.
PhoenixDAC Module
Transforms the Stream3 into a fully integrated streamer with XLR and RCA analogue outputs. Dual Mono AKM DAC chips with OCXO and FemtoClocks for audio, supporting PCM up to 32bit/768kHz and Native DSD. The PhoenixDAC's power supply was developed exclusively in partnership with Dr Sean Jacobs.
Standard and Performance DAC Boards
Two further internal DAC boards are available — Standard (RCA, optical and coaxial SPDIF, PCM up to 24bit/192kHz) and Performance (AKM DAC chip, TCXO clocks, PCM up to 32bit/768kHz, Native DSD) — both currently listed as coming soon.
Innuos Sense App
All Stream series products run Innuos' in-house Sense software. It handles library management, streaming service integration, and playback control from a single, clean interface. Sense is developed entirely by Innuos — not a third-party platform — giving them full control over how the hardware and software interact.

Who Is It For?
The Stream3 is for the serious listener who has invested in a high-quality DAC and wants to give it the best possible source signal. It is also well-suited to those building a system from scratch who want a single, future-proof platform that can grow — starting as a pure streamer and expanding with storage, a DAC module, or a better output board as priorities develop. If you are stepping up from a mid-range streamer and want to hear a genuine difference, this is where that difference lives.
Buying from Martins Hi-Fi
Martins Hi-Fi has been in Norwich since 1968. Elizabeth Gould runs the business today, and we stock only brands we have heard properly and stand behind. We held the first UK Innuos Nazaré event at our Norwich showroom, and the Stream series has been a significant part of our Innuos offering since launch.
Dave, Chris, and Tim are our hi-fi specialists and can walk you through the Stream3 in detail — including which output module suits your existing DAC, and whether adding storage makes sense for the way you listen. You are welcome to hear the Stream3 at the showroom before committing.
Contact us at info@martinshifi.co.uk, call 01603 627010, or WhatsApp on 07554 687137. You can read more about how we work on our Why Martins Hi-Fi page. We are at 85–91 Ber Street, Norwich, NR1 3EY.
Explore the Innuos Range
If you are considering the full Innuos ecosystem, the Innuos Nazaré sits above the Stream3 as the ultimate statement of the brand's engineering, while the Innuos Stream1 offers an excellent entry point into the Stream series. The PhoenixNET network switch is worth considering alongside any Innuos product — it makes a more audible difference than many expect. The Innuos Statement remains the reference point for the brand's server technology.
