Innuos Stream3
The Innuos Stream3 is the flagship of the Stream series — a reference-grade music streamer and server that represents the most concentrated expression of Innuos engineering outside the Nazaré family. At £6,150, the Stream3 includes the Innuos STREAM Remote as standard, and its modular output architecture means it can be precisely configured to complement your existing DAC or expanded into a fully integrated high-end streaming solution. This is a product that sets a new standard for what a modular streaming platform can achieve — combining a power supply of extraordinary ambition with processing performance that leaves nothing to chance.
ARC6-CX Linear Power Supply
The ARC6-CX is among the most seriously engineered power supplies to appear in a streaming product at this price point. A 300VA toroidal transformer, filtered through medical-grade AC conditioning, feeds an integrated power module combining 132,000μF of Mundorf capacitance with active rectification and CX power regulation — all on a single board. The result is an exceptionally low-impedance, ultra-clean power supply with a vanishingly low noise floor, and it is one of the defining reasons the Stream3 performs as it does. Where lesser designs accept switching noise as an unavoidable compromise, the Stream3 eliminates it at source.
Modular Output Architecture
One of the Stream3's most significant features is its modular output board system — a design philosophy that allows the Stream3 to be precisely matched to any system, and to evolve as that system grows. The PhoenixUSB Board brings the reclocking technology of the Innuos Phoenix USB inside the Stream3 chassis, with a 3ppb 24MHz OCXO clock and ultra-low-noise LT3045 linear regulators delivering a regenerated USB signal of the highest precision to your DAC. The SPDIF Board offers coaxial, optical and AES outputs supporting PCM up to 24bit/192kHz, with an optimised power supply and high-quality gold-plated connectors throughout. The PhoenixI2S Board provides direct I2S connection to compatible DAC chips, bypassing additional conversion stages entirely — a 3ppb 24MHz main clock with two FemtoClocks and HDMI connector with eight pin configurations supports formats up to DSD1024. The PhoenixDAC Module transforms the Stream3 into a fully integrated streamer and DAC, with dual mono AKM DAC chips, OCXO and FemtoClocks, XLR and RCA analogue outputs, PCM support up to 32bit/768kHz, and Native DSD — its power supply developed exclusively in partnership with Dr Sean Jacobs. Standard and Performance DAC Boards are also available, the latter featuring an AKM DAC chip, TCXO clocks, and support for PCM up to 32bit/768kHz and Native DSD.
Processing and Performance
The Stream3 is built on a new mainboard powered by 13th Gen Intel Quad-Core processing and 8GB of industrial-grade DDR5 RAM — a platform that Innuos states delivers over 200% faster processing than the previous generation. The operating system runs on a dedicated TLC power-loss protected SSD with Real-Time Kernel technology derived from the ZEN Next-Gen series, keeping latency low and system response immediate. Every aspect of the processing architecture has been chosen to minimise noise and maximise the quality of the signal delivered to the output stage.
Premium Chassis Construction
The Stream3 is housed in a 10mm thick CNC-machined aluminium chassis, bead-blasted and anodised to a finish of extraordinary precision. The mass and rigidity of the enclosure provide effective vibration damping and electromagnetic shielding — a chassis that earns its specification rather than merely advertising it. A 4mm grounding port is provided for those wishing to explore further noise reduction. Available in black or silver.
Optional Storage and CD Ripping
Specify the Stream3 with M2 NVMe SSD storage — in capacities of 1TB, 2TB or 4TB, factory fitted or user-installed — and it becomes a fully capable music server, with comprehensive library management delivered through the Innuos Sense app. Connect a USB optical drive and the Stream3 will rip CDs directly to its internal storage through Innuos's customised ripping engine.
Connectivity
The Stream3 features 2.5Gb Ethernet with a bridged streamer output for connecting additional network devices, USB-C for high-speed drives, DACs or device charging, and a full complement of outputs determined by your choice of output module. Pair it with the Innuos PhoenixNET network switch to address noise at the network level and allow the Stream3's output stage to perform without compromise.
Innuos Sense App
The Stream3 is governed by Innuos's in-house developed Sense software — the same platform that runs every product in the range, from the Innuos Stream1 to the Innuos Statement Music Server. Sense delivers library management, streaming service integration, and playback control from a single, clean interface developed entirely by Innuos — giving them full control over the interaction between hardware and software that lesser platforms cannot match.

Who Is It For?
The Stream3 is for the serious listener who has invested in a high-quality DAC and demands the finest possible source signal — or who wants a single, modular platform capable of growing from a pure streamer into a fully integrated high-end digital source. If you are stepping up from a mid-range streamer and want to hear a genuine, unmistakable difference, this is where that difference lives. For those wishing to go further still, the Innuos NazaréFLOW represents the next level of Innuos engineering — a statement of intent that the Stream3, extraordinary as it is, points towards rather than surpasses.
Buying from Martins Hi-Fi
Martins Hi-Fi has been in Norwich since 1968. Elizabeth Gould runs the business today, and we stock only brands we have heard properly and stand behind.
We were proud to host the first UK Innuos Nazaré event, and the Stream3 is available to hear in our Norwich showroom — demonstrated in a system carefully chosen to reveal everything it is capable of. When you get in touch, you'll be speaking with Dave, Chris and Tim — experienced specialists who can advise on the Stream3, its output module options, and your whole system.
