Innuos NET3

The Innuos NET3 is a new full-size audiophile network switch, sitting above both the entry NET1 and the now-discontinued PhoenixNET. It is the network partner to the STREAM3, bringing the chassis and power-supply thinking of that server into a matching, full-width switch. See the full Innuos range we stock.

The significant news is the board: the NET3 uses the WaveNET board trickled down from the flagship NazaréNET, with SFP fibre connectivity and customised firmware. Fibre lets the network be broken galvanically before it reaches your audio equipment — one of the more effective ways to keep switching noise out of a streaming system.

Power Supply and Build

Inside is a linear power supply with Mundorf capacitors and twin CX power regulator modules — the same regulation philosophy as the STREAM3 server. The switch is housed in a full-width 10mm CNC-machined aluminium chassis with vibration-damping feet and toroidal isolation, so it matches the STREAM3 both visually and in engineering standard.

Who Is It For?

The NET3 is for a STREAM3 owner — or anyone with a mid-to-high-end streaming system — who wants a serious, matched network switch that performs above the old PhoenixNET. The WaveNET board and fibre input bring genuine flagship technology to a more attainable price. Below it sits the NET1 for STREAM1 systems; above it, the Next-Gen NET and the NazaréNET.
