Innuos LPS1 Linear Power Supply
The Innuos LPS1 is a linear power supply designed to replace the standard external supply of the STREAM1. Power supply quality is one of the most reliable predictors of performance in a digital source — the cleaner and more stable the power, the lower the noise floor and the more the music opens up — and the LPS1 is the most effective single upgrade you can make to a STREAM1. What It Does
The LPS1 is built around a 150VA toroidal transformer with premium Mundorf and Nichicon capacitors and medical-grade AC filtering, housed behind a 10mm CNC-machined aluminium front panel. It provides a 19V output for supported Innuos products, plus a separate switchable 5V or 12V output (1.5A maximum) that can power an additional device such as a router or network switch, and a 4mm chassis grounding port.
Designed specifically to match the STREAM1, the LPS1 is also backwards compatible with the ZENmini Mk3 and PULSEmini, so it remains useful to owners of those earlier units.

Who Is It For?
The LPS1 is for any STREAM1 owner whose system has the resolution to reveal the difference — which is most of them. If you are buying a STREAM1 for a serious hi-fi system, the sensible approach is to budget for the LPS1 at the same time; the two are designed to work together and are usually offered as a bundle at a discount. It is also the right upgrade for an existing ZENmini Mk3 or PULSEmini owner looking to lift performance without changing the server itself.
