Fyne Audio FS8 Speaker Stands
The FS8 are Fyne Audio's dedicated stands for the F700SP and F1 series standmount speakers, built in the UK from steel and machined aluminium. They are not generic stands adapted to fit Fyne products — the FS8 is designed with dedicated fixing points for the F700, F701, and F1-8, and the geometry of the BassTrax downward-firing port is integrated into the stand column, so the port fires into the column and exits at the base rather than underneath the cabinet.
Materials and Construction
The top plate is steel, the central column is contoured aluminium, and the plinth and cups are machined aluminium — the same approach used in reference stands from specialist manufacturers at higher prices. The base plate is twin 8mm aluminium plates with spacers, giving a low centre of gravity and resistance to tipping. Large knurled lock rings allow levelling without tools. Floor spikes are included and adjust for uneven surfaces; machined aluminium cups protect wooden floors.
Cable Management and Compatibility
Integrated cable management runs speaker cables through the column internally, eliminating loose cables behind the speaker. The FS8 carries dedicated fixing points for the F701SP, F700, and F1-8 — these speakers locate positively on the stand rather than sitting on a generic top plate. The F1-5 can also be accommodated with the optional adapter plate and putty pads. Finish is satin anodised black and polished. Sold as a pair.

Who Is It For?
The FS8 is the correct stand for the F701SP and F1-8 — using a generic stand with these speakers misses the point of the BassTrax port integration and the dedicated fixing system. If you are buying a F701SP or F1-8, budget for the stands at the same time. They are also a very good stand for the F1-5 if you don't want to pay for the full FS8 dedicated fixing. For existing owners looking to upgrade from a generic stand, the difference is audible — the dedicated mechanical coupling and port integration both contribute to lower coloration and tighter bass.
