Entreq Powerus T2

Everything starts with the wall socket. That is not a philosophical statement — it is the practical reality of how a hi-fi system works. Every component in your system draws its power from the mains, and everything that travels down that power line — interference, noise, magnetic fields — ultimately finds its way into the signal. The Powerus T2 is Entreq's answer to that problem.

The Powerus T2 is a four-outlet mains power distributor built around Entreq's core principles: star grounding for the outlets, an asymmetrical design, and cabling optimised for handling high frequencies. Each outlet is fed from a single point — a star ground configuration that prevents the outlets from interfering with one another. No magnetic materials are used anywhere in the construction.

All four outlets feature Furutech NCF sockets. Furutech's NCF (Nano Crystal Formula) material is a proprietary compound used in the socket bodies, and it is one of the more thoughtful specifications in the Powerus T2 — a detail that reflects the seriousness with which Entreq approach the power supply problem.

The Powerus T2 uses a standard IEC inlet and works with any IEC power cable, though Entreq recommend pairing it with one of their own power cables to get the most from it. If you are already using an Entreq Olympus Heavy Art Power Cable or an Entreq Olympus Fine Art Power Cable, the Powerus T2 is the natural companion piece. For those earlier in the Entreq system, the Primer Hexa Power Cable is the recommended starting point.

Entreq's view is that if you do not address power and ground first, every other adjustment you make to your system — cables, components, isolation — is compensating for a problem that should have been solved at the source. The Powerus T2 is where that process begins.

Who Is It For?

The Powerus T2 is for the listener who has invested seriously in their system and suspects — or knows — that the mains supply is holding it back. It is not a tweak. It is infrastructure, and it rewards being treated as such.
