Entreq Olympus Heavy Art Power Cable
There is a point in any system build where the question shifts from "what component next?" to "what is stopping this system from being as good as it can be?" For many who have spent serious time with Entreq's work, the answer is the mains cable.
The Olympus Heavy Art Power Cable sits at the top of the Entreq cable range. It is built around triple EEDS — Entreq's own proprietary technology, applied across all Olympus cables — and terminated with Furutech FI 50 NCF connectors. The FI 50 NCF is one of the most respected mains connectors available: Furutech's NCF compound is a crystalline material with piezoelectric and piezo-damping properties, used here to reduce vibration and static at the point of connection. At 1650mm, the cable is long enough to reach from a mains block or wall outlet without compromise.
EEDS — Entreq's grounding philosophy made physical — is what separates Olympus cables from everything else in the range. Triple EEDS means three stages of Entreq's noise-management approach are built into the cable itself, not added externally. The result, in our experience, is a presentation that is quieter and more composed than the same system running on conventional mains cabling — detail that was present but obscured becomes simply present.
Entreq suggest pairing the Olympus Heavy Art Power Cable with the Entreq Olympus Digital cable for streaming sources. We would agree: used together on a streamer, the effect is cumulative rather than additive.
This is not a cable for a system that is still finding its feet. It belongs in a system where the components are settled and the remaining gains are in the infrastructure — the cables, the grounding, the mains quality. If that describes where you are, this is worth serious consideration.

Who Is It For?
The Olympus Heavy Art Power Cable is for the serious enthusiast who has already invested in high-quality source, amplification, and speakers, and is now addressing the infrastructure that underpins all of it. If mains quality and cable performance are your remaining variables, this is where Entreq's best thinking is concentrated.
It is not the starting point for a grounding or cable upgrade — Entreq make products at every level for that. But if you are at the stage where only the best will do, the Olympus Heavy Art is it. Consider pairing it with the Entreq Pluton ground box or the Entreq Olympus Hero for a complete top-level Entreq system.
