Tellurium Q weren't entirely sure the Silver Diamond could be made. It represents the fullest expression of their core design philosophy — the idea that every cable is an electronic filter, and that the goal is to get as close as possible to a perfectly neutral one. Years of research into phase distortion and signal transmission had been building to this point, and the result is a cable that sits in a class of its own at the very top of the Tellurium Q range.

Compared to the already outstanding Black Diamond, the Silver Diamond offers even better bass definition, improved detail, and a more extended top end that somehow remains entirely free of harshness. But those improvements, as significant as they are, don't fully capture what makes this cable so remarkable. Reviewers and owners consistently reach for the same phrase when trying to describe it: a certain rightness. A sense that what you are hearing is simply correct — that there is nothing between you and the music. Tellurium Q themselves use the analogy of moving from HD to 4K Ultra HD with 3D, and having heard the cable, few who review it would argue with that.

The Silver Diamond also behaves a little differently from other cables in the range.
