Innuos Statement Music Server
The Innuos Statement sits at the absolute pinnacle of music server design — a no-compromise flagship that redefines what digital audio playback can achieve. Every element of the Statement has been engineered without concession, from its dual-enclosure power supply architecture to its exclusively designed EMI-optimised motherboard, and the result is a music server that sets a new standard for resolution, timing, and low-level detail retrieval.
A Power Supply Without Compromise
Partnering with Dr. Sean Jacobs, Innuos designed a new power supply architecture exclusively for the Statement. The supply is distributed across two enclosures: one handling AC/DC conversion, the other containing the regulation stage alongside the server components themselves. This separation means that clean, regulated power travels an exceptionally short, point-to-point soldered path to each component — with minimal resistance and virtually no exposure to EMI. Eight independent power supply rails ensure that each critical component receives its own dedicated, uncontaminated supply. The OCXO clocks governing the Ethernet and USB outputs each benefit from their own dedicated rail, allowing them to operate at their highest possible precision.
Custom Reclockers and OCXO Clocks
Not satisfied with existing USB and Ethernet reclocking solutions, Innuos designed their own boards in-house. Three principles guided the design: ultra-high-precision OCXO clocks for signal timing; meticulous power supply management to prevent cross-contamination between components; and the shortest possible signal paths between components. The USB controller is regulated by three independent ultra-low-noise regulators — one per voltage — and the clock is routed via a dedicated track on the board itself, keeping it as close to the controller as physically possible. Dozens of USB controllers were evaluated before the final design was selected.
EMI-Optimised Motherboard
The Statement's motherboard was designed exclusively for Innuos, with every unnecessary noise-generating component removed. A custom BIOS ensures the hardware operates at its lowest possible noise floor without sacrificing performance. Additional EMI treatment is applied directly to the board, so that interference is absorbed rather than reflected back into the signal path — a detail that makes a measurable and audible difference at this level of performance.
A Chassis Built to the Same Standard
The Statement's enclosure is machined from 10mm-thick aluminium — a construction that simultaneously shields against external EMI and provides the mass needed to damp harmful vibration. The dual-enclosure design also isolates the 540VA toroidal transformer from the sensitive server components, preventing mechanical resonance from compromising the audio performance. Asymmetrical isolation feet complete the picture, decoupling the Statement from whatever surface it rests upon.

Who Is It For?
The Innuos Statement is for the serious music lover who has assembled a genuinely high-end system and wants the digital source to be beyond reproach. If you are running a high-quality DAC and amplification capable of resolving fine detail, the Statement will reward that investment — delivering a soundstage, imaging, and sense of musical flow that is simply not available from lesser sources. It is a long-term purchase, built and specified to remain relevant as your system and your listening evolve.
Buying from Martins Hi-Fi
Martins Hi-Fi has been in Norwich since 1968. Elizabeth Gould runs the business today, and we stock only brands we have heard properly and stand behind.
We were proud to host the first UK Innuos Nazaré event, and the Statement is something we know intimately — you are welcome to hear it in our Norwich showroom as part of a carefully matched system. When you get in touch, you'll be speaking with Dave, Chris and Tim — experienced specialists who can advise on the Statement and your whole system.
