The Vintage Twelve is the largest speaker in Fyne Audio's Vintage series — a 300mm IsoFlare driver in a twin cavity birch plywood cabinet with hand-finished oiled walnut veneer and solid walnut trim, reaching 24Hz in-room at 96dB sensitivity. At 77.1kg per speaker, it is an instrument-grade loudspeaker designed for serious long-term listening rooms.
300mm IsoFlare Point Source
The 300mm IsoFlare driver is Fyne Audio's largest, with a 75mm titanium alloy dome compression tweeter positioned concentrically at the cone's geometric centre. The crossover at 750Hz uses Deep Cryogenically Treated bi-wired passive components. Both the HF energy and Presence controls on the rear panel offer ±3dB adjustment to accommodate different room acoustic situations. The neodymium magnet system provides a high field strength in a light assembly, contributing to the transient agility that a 96dB sensitivity figure alone does not fully describe.
Cabinet and BassTrax
The twin cavity birch plywood cabinet is hand-finished in oiled walnut with solid walnut trim — the same premium cabinet construction used throughout the Vintage series. BassTrax Tractrix downward-firing bass loading reaches 24Hz in-room. The Tractrix profile handles the large excursions of the 300mm driver at high levels without port turbulence. Extensive internal bracing throughout the enclosure minimises resonant colouration.

Who Is It For?
The Vintage Twelve is for the listener at the top of the Vintage series — someone who wants the largest IsoFlare driver in the most accomplished cabinet Fyne Audio builds for the Vintage range, who has the room and the system to justify it. The 96dB sensitivity means it is genuinely usable with single-ended valve amplification from 10–20W, as well as large solid-state designs. It is a speaker that will still be relevant and satisfying decades from now. We strongly recommend a demonstration in Norwich before purchasing — this is a speaker worth hearing properly before committing.
