The FA302iC is the 8-inch model in Fyne Audio's FA300iC in-ceiling series — a 200mm coaxial driver with 25mm polyester dome tweeter, reaching 37Hz in-room at 90dB sensitivity. Its larger driver size and deeper bass extension make it more capable than the FA301iC in rooms where a freestanding subwoofer is not practical.
200mm Coaxial Driver and Fitting
The 200mm multi-fibre bass/midrange cone carries a 25mm coaxial polyester dome tweeter crossing at 2.8kHz. The mounting depth is 112.5mm behind the ceiling surface, with a cutout diameter of 248mm. The clamp travel of 5–50mm accommodates a wide range of ceiling thicknesses. Both round (281mm diameter) and square (281 × 281mm) grille options are available, giving flexibility for different architectural contexts. Minimum recommended enclosure volume is 15 litres.

Who Is It For?
The FA302iC suits primary listening zones in a whole-home audio installation where the FA301iC's smaller driver and shallower bass extension would be a limitation. Its 37Hz in-room extension means it can operate without a subwoofer for most music listening use cases. It is also a capable choice for home cinema side and rear surround positions where a freestanding speaker is not practical.
