The FA301iC is the entry-level model in Fyne Audio's FA300iC in-ceiling series — a 150mm coaxial driver with a 25mm polyester dome tweeter at its centre, designed for custom install and whole-home audio applications. It shares the coaxial point source approach with Fyne's freestanding range, giving it broader, more consistent dispersion than conventional offset tweeter in-ceiling designs.
Coaxial Driver and Fitting
The 150mm multi-fibre bass/midrange cone carries a 25mm coaxial polyester dome tweeter at its centre, crossing at 3.2kHz. The shallow mounting depth of 92mm behind the ceiling surface makes it compatible with a wide range of ceiling constructions, and the clamp system adjusts from 5mm to 50mm to accommodate different ceiling thicknesses without additional fixings. Cutout diameter is 208mm. Both round and square grille options are available.

Who Is It For?
The FA301iC is the starting point for whole-home audio in a Fyne Audio installation — background music zones, kitchen, hallway, and secondary rooms where a discreet in-ceiling solution is preferred over freestanding speakers. It pairs well with multi-room amplifiers and standard home automation systems. For primary listening rooms where a higher-performance in-ceiling solution is needed, consider the IsoFlare-based FA501iC.
