The Fyne Audio F1-10s is the standmount expression of the F1 flagship range — a two-way monitor of exceptional engineering ambition that draws on the same driver technology, cabinet philosophy, and crossover discipline as the full F1 floorstanding series. Built around a 250mm IsoFlare point-source driver with a 50mm titanium alloy dome compression tweeter, the F1-10s delivers a scale of bass authority and dynamic capability that standmount loudspeakers at this price simply do not achieve. At 93dB sensitivity and a nominal impedance of 8Ω, the F1-10s is an uncompromising monitor-format loudspeaker that rewards the finest partnering equipment without demanding it.

IsoFlare Driver Technology

The IsoFlare driver is the engineering foundation on which every Fyne Audio loudspeaker is built, and in the F1-10s it reaches a level of refinement that defines the upper boundary of what this technology makes possible in a two-way standmount configuration. The 250mm multi-fibre cone and 50mm titanium alloy dome compression tweeter share a common acoustic axis — the tweeter fires from the centre of the cone — creating a true point source that radiates sound isotropically in all directions from a single point in space. Time alignment between bass/midrange and high-frequency output is absolute; off-axis coherence is maintained across the listening area in a way that no conventional two-driver layout can replicate. The 50mm titanium dome handles high-frequency transients at the dynamic levels the F1-10s's sensitivity makes available, with controlled distortion at the loudest passages a monitor of this resolution will regularly face.

Cabinet and Bracing

The F1-10s cabinet is constructed from HDF with extensive internal bracing — a structurally rigid enclosure that minimises resonance and keeps the signal path free from cabinet-induced colouration. The downfiring port couples to a BassTrax Tractrix diffuser integrated into the plinth, maintaining a consistent expanding wavefront as bass energy exits the enclosure and reducing the floor-boundary reflections that afflict conventional rear-ported standmounts. The result is bass extension and room integration that the cabinet's dimensions alone do not suggest possible.

Crossover and Signal Path

The passive crossover divides at 1kHz, with Deep Cryogenic Treatment applied to all crossover components — a process that reduces micro-distortion in the signal path and contributes to the F1-10s's grain-free, effortless presentation at all listening levels. A dedicated earth terminal eliminates RF interference conducted through the amplifier or cables. Bi-wiring is supported via the twin terminal pairs on the rear panel.

Who Is It For?

The F1-10s is for the listener who wants flagship F1 engineering in a standmount format — whether because the room demands it, or because the monitor presentation of a two-way speaker on dedicated stands is their preferred acoustic. The 28Hz bass extension and 93dB sensitivity place the F1-10s in direct competition with floorstanding loudspeakers at considerably higher prices. Those building a complete F1-series system should consider the Fyne Audio SuperTrax super tweeter for extended high-frequency performance.
