Epson EH-LS7500 3,500 Lumen Short-Throw 4K Laser Projector

The Epson EH-LS7500 is a short-throw 4K laser projector built for serious home entertainment — whether that means a dedicated cinema room, a gaming setup, or an indoor golf simulator in the garage. Combining 3LCD technology, AI-powered image processing and a laser light source rated to 20,000 hours, it delivers bright, accurate images in spaces where a long-throw projector simply would not fit. This is a projector that adapts to the way you actually use your home, rather than demanding you rearrange it.

Short-Throw Design for Flexible Installations

The short-throw lens produces images from 40 inches up to 300 inches from a comparatively modest projection distance — 2.23 m to 4.48 m for a 100-inch screen — making it practical for media rooms, dedicated home cinema spaces and golf simulation setups alike. Manual vertical lens shift of ±59% and horizontal shift of ±21%, combined with 10 lens position memories, give installers genuine flexibility in positioning without compromising image geometry. Quick Corner keystone correction handles the rest.

3LCD Technology and AI Image Processing

Epson's 3LCD system uses three separate liquid crystal panels — one each for red, green and blue — to produce images where Colour Light Output and White Light Output are equally matched at 3,500 lumens. There is no colour wheel, and therefore no rainbow effect. Every frame is processed at 10-bit colour depth, drawing on a palette of up to 1.07 billion colours, with HDR10 and HLG support ensuring compatibility with contemporary streaming and disc content.

AIPQ (Artificial Intelligence Picture Quality) and AISR (Artificial Intelligence Super Resolution) work in real time to optimise detail, contrast and motion across every type of content — film, sport, gaming and golf simulation included. The DCI colour gamut, Dynamic Colour Booster and De-contour processing further refine the image, while a 400 Hz / 480 Hz vertical refresh rate keeps fast motion clean.

Future-Ready Connectivity

The EH-LS7500 is built to accommodate whichever streaming ecosystem you prefer. HDMI with ARC/eARC supports current and future source devices, while Wi-Fi 6E and a full Ethernet interface handle network integration. A powered USB port allows a streaming stick to be powered directly from the projector. Smart Matter compatibility means the EH-LS7500 slots into a connected home without friction, and control system integration covers URC, Crestron, AMX and Control4 for custom installation environments.

Laser Light Source and Long-Term Reliability

The laser light source is rated to 20,000 hours across all operating modes — High, Medium and Eco — which at typical usage patterns represents well over a decade of ownership without lamp replacement. Running noise is 25 dB(A) in normal mode and 22 dB(A) in economy, which is quiet enough for a dedicated cinema environment. Epson backs the unit with a 60-month manufacturer's warranty (carry-in or 12,000 hours RTB), and will provide security updates for seven years from purchase in compliance with UK Product Security and Telecommunications Infrastructure requirements.

Who Is It For?

The EH-LS7500 suits anyone who wants a large-screen experience without the room to accommodate a long-throw installation. It is a natural choice for a dedicated home cinema or media room, for serious gamers who want a genuinely large display, and for homeowners building an indoor golf simulator. The 20,000-hour laser source and five-year warranty make it a sensible long-term investment rather than a stopgap. It is not the projector for someone who wants the absolute smallest possible unit or who needs ultra-short-throw performance — but for short-throw installations where image quality and flexibility matter, it is a compelling choice.
