The Epson EH-LS7000 is a 3,600 lumen 4K laser projector designed for serious home entertainment. Where a large-screen TV reaches its physical and practical limits, the EH-LS7000 steps in — delivering images up to 300 inches from a compact, quiet unit that fits on a shelf, a piece of furniture, or a ceiling mount. 3LCD technology, AI-powered image enhancement and a long-life laser light source combine to produce bright, natural pictures with none of the compromises associated with entry-level projection.
3LCD Technology and Colour Accuracy
Epson's 3LCD system uses three separate liquid crystal panels — one each for red, green and blue — processed simultaneously to produce the final image. The result is equally matched White and Colour Light Output at 3,600 lumens, meaning colours on screen are as bright as the white areas. There is no rainbow effect, no colour wheel, and no flickering artefacts. Whether you are watching a film in a darkened room or following live sport with the curtains open, the image holds its integrity.
AI Image Enhancement
The EH-LS7000 includes Epson's AIPQ (Artificial Intelligence Picture Quality) and AISR (Artificial Intelligence Super Resolution) processing. These systems analyse content frame by frame in real time, adjusting contrast, sharpening detail and smoothing motion without manual intervention. The practical effect is a picture that responds intelligently to what it is showing — fast sport, dark film sequences and bright gaming scenes each handled differently and appropriately.
Flexible Installation
A centred lens with manual vertical lens shift of ±59% and horizontal shift of ±21% gives the EH-LS7000 genuine installation flexibility. Ten lens position memory settings allow different screen configurations to be stored and recalled. The throw ratio of 1.32–2.15:1 suits most living rooms and dedicated cinema rooms without requiring structural changes. At 25 dB in normal mode and 22 dB in economy mode, it is quiet enough to be unobtrusive in a shared room.
Streaming and Smart Home Integration
The EH-LS7000 does not lock you into a single ecosystem. A powered USB port accepts your preferred streaming stick — Apple TV, Fire TV, Google TV — so you retain full control over your content platform and can upgrade independently of the projector itself. Smart Matter compatibility means the EH-LS7000 integrates cleanly into a connected home environment. Control options extend to URC, Crestron, AMX and Control4 for custom installation projects.
Laser Light Source
The laser light source is rated at 20,000 hours across high, medium and eco operating modes — eliminating the lamp replacement cycles and associated costs of traditional projection. Brightness remains consistent over the life of the unit, and the instant on/off feature means there is no warm-up or cool-down period to manage.
