Entreq Max Ti
The Max Ti is the first post in Entreq's Max range to move beyond the foundational Max T and Max S. Where those two posts define the entry point into Corepoint tuning, the Max Ti takes that platform further — adding Titanium to the Tungsten base that runs through the whole range, and producing a post with a clear, distinct character of its own.
Titanium and Tungsten in Combination
Every Max post is built around Tungsten, and the Max Ti is no exception. What distinguishes it is the addition of Titanium: a strong, low-density transition metal with its own magnetic and electrical properties. In Entreq's own words, Titanium contributes a sense of precision and articulation that builds on the depth and weight Tungsten provides. The two materials are not interchangeable — they work in combination, each contributing something the other does not, and the result is a post with a character that sits apart from the rest of the range.
What the Max Ti Does in a System
Entreq are candid about what the Max Ti does in their reference system, and it is worth repeating because it sets honest expectations. Compared to the Max T, the Max Ti shifts energy away from the low frequencies and towards the midrange and top end. It grips the presentation more firmly. Where the Max T is generous, the Max Ti is precise — trading a little of the Max T's outright energy for composure and focus. That is one system's experience. Yours may differ, which is exactly why the Max range offers a choice of posts rather than a single solution.
The Max Post Architecture
Like every post in the Max range, the Max Ti houses a specific configuration of materials inside a wooden body. The wooden housing is chosen for its electromagnetic neutrality — it allows the active materials to do their work without the housing itself introducing interference. The post simply screws onto the threaded post of the host product, whether that is a Corepoint unit, a ground box, or a Tuss Kit. There is no additional setup required.
Compatibility
The Max Ti was developed alongside the Corepoint architecture supplied with Entreq's Delphius and Primer Core cables. It is equally suited to Entreq ground boxes and Tuss Kit. Fitting is straightforward: the Max Ti screws directly onto the threaded post of the host unit.
Hand-Built in Sweden
The Max Ti is hand-built at Entreq's facility in Sweden. The wooden body and the specific configuration of Tungsten and Titanium inside it have been developed and refined through extensive testing on Entreq's own reference system. It is available exclusively through Entreq's authorised dealer network.
Who Is It For?
The Max Ti suits systems that have already taken the first steps into Corepoint tuning with a Max T or Max S, and where the listener is looking for a more controlled, articulate presentation. If you value precision and composure over outright weight and energy, the Max Ti is the logical next step. It is not the entry point into the Max range — that remains the Max T and Max S — but for those ready to go further, it is a meaningful progression.
