Entreq Max T

The Max T is the foundational post in Entreq's Max range — the one they measure every other Max post against. Built around Tungsten as its principal active material, it is designed to work with the Corepoint units supplied with every Delphius and Primer Core cable, and equally with any Entreq ground box. Simple to fit, immediately audible in effect, and open-ended in application, the Max T is where the Max range begins and, for many systems, where it ends.

What a Max Post Does

Entreq Max posts are designed to influence the electromagnetic behaviour at the reference point of a Corepoint unit or a ground box. Every Max post contains a specific configuration of materials housed in a wooden body. The combination of diamagnetic, paramagnetic and ferromagnetic properties in those materials acts upon the electromagnetic field at the reference point, producing a significant and audible change in the performance of the cable or box to which the post is attached.

The wooden body is not incidental. Wood is chosen for its electromagnetic neutrality — it allows the active materials inside the post to do their work without interference from the housing itself.

Tungsten at the Heart of Max T

Max T takes Tungsten as its principal active material. Tungsten is a dense, high-melting-point metal with distinctive magnetic and electrical properties, and it has become one of Entreq's defining materials — used across their most respected ground boxes and at the heart of the Max post range. Entreq describe its contribution as bringing clarity to detail, depth, and the sense of weight and dimension in the music, throughout the system to which the host product is connected.

How It Performs

Entreq are straightforward about what they hear in their own reference system: the Max T brings plenty of energy, concentrated in the lower midrange and bass, while remaining smooth and warm through the upper midrange and highs. There is also a clear improvement in three-dimensional presentation. They are equally clear that every system responds in its own way — what the Max T does in yours is something only your system can tell you. That honesty is worth noting.

Fitting and Compatibility

Every Entreq Corepoint unit and every Entreq ground box is supplied with a threaded post and a plain wooden cap as standard. Fitting the Max T is straightforward: unscrew the standard wooden cap, screw the Max T post in its place, and secure the ERS wire or grounding cable to the host product as it goes. Because every Corepoint and ground box shares the same threaded post, any Max post can be tried, swapped or upgraded at any time. The architecture is open-ended by design.

The Max T is suitable for use with Corepoint Signal and Corepoint Power units, and with any Entreq ground box — including older models that may already be part of your system.

Hand-Built in Sweden

The Max T is hand-built at Entreq's facility in Sweden. The Tungsten configuration inside each post has been developed and refined through extensive testing on their reference system. Each post is a considered object, not a production line accessory.
