Entreq Max Pl

The Entreq Max Pl is one of the most refined posts in the Max range. Designed for use with the Corepoint units supplied with every Delphius and Primer Core cable, it pairs Platinum with the Tungsten base shared across the Max range — bringing a substantial gain in resolution, stability and the overall presence of the music to any Corepoint-equipped cable.

Platinum in the Signal Path

Few materials have the singular qualities of Platinum, and fewer still are deployed as deliberately in audio. Where the lower Max posts each bring audible improvements to a system, Max Pl marks a step change. Paired with the Tungsten base that runs through the entire Max range, Platinum's contribution here is not incremental — it opens up the whole register, adding air, depth and a wider, taller presentation to an already refined performance. In our reference system, removing it from the system becomes almost impossible. That's a meaningful statement.

Where It Sits in the Max Range

Max Pl sits at the upper tier of the Max range alongside the Max Pa, as one of two posts — Platinum and Palladium respectively — that represent a significant further step beyond Max T, Max S and Max Ti. Each post in the range lifts performance audibly; Max Pl takes that further still, and is a considered investment for systems that are ready to take advantage of what it offers.

The Max Post Architecture

Like every Entreq Max post, Max Pl contains a specific configuration of materials housed in a wooden body. The wooden body is chosen for its electromagnetic neutrality, allowing the active materials inside — Tungsten and Platinum — to do their work without interference from the housing. It simply screws onto the threaded post of the host product, making installation straightforward across all compatible Entreq components.

Compatible With Corepoint, Ground Boxes and Tuss Kit

Max Pl was developed alongside the Corepoint architecture supplied with Entreq's Delphius and Primer Core cables, and is equally suitable for use with Entreq ground boxes and Tuss Kit. In all applications, it screws directly onto the threaded post of the host product — no additional hardware required.

Hand-Built in Sweden

Max Pl is hand-built at Entreq's facility in Sweden. Given the rarity of Platinum, the composition of each post has been developed and refined through extensive testing on Entreq's reference system, ensuring that every contribution Platinum brings is fully realised.

Who Is It For?

Max Pl is for those already invested in the Entreq ecosystem — owners of Delphius or Primer Core cables with Corepoint units, or users of Entreq ground boxes and Tuss Kit who want to take their system to the furthest point the Max range allows. It is not an entry point into Entreq; it is a destination for those who already know what the system can do and want more of it.
