Entreq Macro Box Tungsten Twin Kit
The Macro Box Tungsten Twin Kit is Entreq's complete solution for grounding the negative speaker terminals of both channels of your amplifier. It pairs two Macro Box Tungsten ground units with two 1.1m Eartha ground cables, providing everything needed to take what Entreq consider the single most important first step in system grounding — at a higher level of performance, thanks to their Tungsten Inside technology.
Why Negative Terminal Grounding Matters
There are numerous ways Entreq grounding products can be applied to an audio system, but grounding the negative speaker terminals at the amplifier is, in Entreq's view, the essential first step. It addresses noise at the point where it has the greatest influence over everything you hear. The improvement is not subtle, and it is not limited to one area of the sound — it is felt across the system from a single point of connection.
The Macro Box Tungsten Twin Kit makes that step as straightforward as possible. No additional purchases are required. Connect, allow the system a few hours to settle, and listen.
Tungsten Inside Technology
Each Macro Box Tungsten is a hand-finished oak enclosure, sealed with beeswax, containing a reformulated version of Entreq's proprietary mineral mix. The reformulation is what Entreq call Tungsten Inside: a mix featuring Tungsten, a material their research found to offer greater performance in grounding applications than the standard mineral mix.
The character of the improvement over the standard Macro Box is consistent with what grounding the negative terminals always achieves — a lower noise floor, more of the recording allowed to surface through it, greater solidity in the bass, and more natural transient decay. With Tungsten Inside, these gains go further. A quieter background still, and more of what was always in the recording becoming audible.
The Eartha Ground Cables
The two included Eartha ground cables are 1.1m in length. Each is terminated with a spade connector at one end and a 4mm banana plug at the other. The cables are non-directional, so either end can connect to the amplifier or the ground box — connection is straightforward regardless of your termination preference.
How to Connect
Connect one Eartha ground cable from the negative speaker terminal on each channel of your amplifier to its own Macro Box Tungsten. Each box grounds one channel independently — it is important never to connect both channels to the same ground box. Once connected, allow the system a few hours to settle before critical listening. Entreq provide full connection guidance, including alternative configurations, in their Connection Guides.

table>Who Is It For?
The Macro Box Tungsten Twin Kit is for anyone who wants to begin Entreq grounding at a higher level of performance from the outset. If you have a stereo amplifier and want to address both channels simultaneously — which is the correct approach — this kit provides everything required in a single purchase. It suits listeners who have heard what grounding the negative terminals can do, and want more of it; and those who are starting fresh and prefer not to upgrade incrementally.
It is worth noting that grounding the negative speaker terminals can have a significant impact on sound quality, and Entreq recommend reading their connection guidance or speaking with a dealer before making changes to your amplifier connections.
