Entreq Macro Box Tungsten Kit
The Macro Box Tungsten Kit is Entreq's entry point into their grounding system — a complete, ready-to-use ground box for a single source component or amplifier. It is the upgraded version of the standard Macro Box, incorporating Entreq's Tungsten Inside technology for greater performance. Everything needed to get started is included in the box.
What Does a Ground Box Do?
Every active component in a hi-fi system generates and accumulates electrical noise. Left with nowhere to go, that noise settles within your equipment — masking low-level detail and subtly flattening what you hear. The Macro Box Tungsten gives that noise a path away from your system. Connected to a single source or amplifier, it draws accumulated electrical pollution out of the component and into its mineral mix filled cell, where it is absorbed and dissipated rather than left to build up.
The result is a lower noise floor. More space around instruments, more texture in voices, and a greater sense of ease across the whole performance. In our experience, this is one of those changes that is difficult to describe accurately until you hear it — and immediately obvious once you do.
Tungsten Inside Technology
Entreq's research into grounding materials led them to a specific mineral mix used in the Macro Box Tungsten. Their listening confirmed it offers greater performance than the standard Macro Box — the gains are of the same character, simply more of them. A quieter background, and more of the recording surfacing through it.
Supplied Ready to Use
The Macro Box Tungsten Kit is supplied as a complete kit with a 1.1m Eartha cable with spade termination at one end and banana plug at the other. It is ready to use straight from the box — an ideal way to bring Entreq grounding to a single, important component and to hear what your system sounds like with the noise taken away.
Technical Specifications
table>Note: None of Entreq's ground boxes can replace protective grounding. This unit works most effectively when grounding one component with a total weight of up to 10 kg — though it will still have a positive effect on larger components.
Who Is It For?
The Macro Box Tungsten Kit is for anyone curious about what Entreq grounding does and who wants to start with a single, important component — a DAC, streamer, or preamplifier, for instance. It is a self-contained solution that requires no additional purchases to get up and running. If you later want to ground the negative speaker terminals on your amplifier, Entreq's Macro Twin Kit is the logical next step.
