Entreq Eartha Olympus Ground Cable

The Eartha Olympus is Entreq's top ground cable, developed and designed alongside the Olympus Infinity ground boxes. It is the natural choice for anyone running Olympus-level grounding in their system, and the one to specify when you want the very best performance Entreq's ground cable range can offer.

Construction

Eartha Olympus is built around two 15 AWG conductors, each created by twisting pure silver threads of four different AWG sizes together. The cable is then treated with Entreq's high-pressure Infinity process — a treatment applied across the Olympus range to optimise the interaction between cable and ground box. The result is a cable whose tonal influence is subtle and controlled: when used with an Olympus ground box, it reduces the noise floor without altering the tonal character of your system.

The standard length is 1,650mm. Additional lengths are available in 550mm increments, and fixed termination cables can be ordered for enhanced performance.

Termination

All Eartha ground cables are terminated at one end with a hook connector for connection to the ground box. The other end is specified and hardwired at the time of ordering — Entreq consider this hardwired connection to offer the best possible performance. If you need flexibility, you can specify either a bayonet connector (Level 3 performance) or a 3.5mm male connector (Level 1 or 2 performance) in place of the hardwired termination, using Entreq's Click Adaptor system. The bayonet connection is the next best level of performance to hardwiring.

Wood, silver, and cotton — the same materials philosophy found throughout the Entreq range, chosen for their acoustic and electrical properties rather than for cost or convenience.

The Eartha Olympus works best with Entreq's Olympus-series ground boxes: the Olympus X, Olympus X T, Olympus 10 T, Olympus Infinity T, Olympus TenTen, and Olympus Hero. We stock a full range of Entreq ground boxes and can advise on the right pairing for your system.

Who Is It For?

The Eartha Olympus is for systems where grounding is already taken seriously — where an Olympus-series ground box is in place, or planned, and where you want the cable to be worthy of it. Specifying anything less at this level is a false economy. If you are building an Olympus-level system from the ground up, this is the cable to order alongside the box.
