Entreq Delphius Speaker Cables

The Delphius Speaker Cable is Entreq's flagship speaker cable — hand-built in Sweden around the new Energy Reference System (ERS) and Corepoint technology. By the time signal reaches your speaker cables it has passed through every component in your system and arrived at its most exposed point: amplified, current-rich, and open to the electromagnetic environment of the room itself. Delphius is designed to address that vulnerability directly.

Energy Reference System (ERS)

At the core of the Delphius Speaker Cable is the Energy Reference System — a separately shielded reference wire that works in concert with the Corepoint Signal units supplied with every cable. Where a conventional drain wire carries induced noise away, ERS interacts with the electromagnetic field around the cable. The Corepoint provides the stable reference point that allows it to do so. Each channel is supplied with its own Corepoint unit, ensuring left and right operate with matched coherence across the full length of the cable run.

In our experience, the discipline of matched coherence between channels is not a minor detail. It is the kind of thing that becomes apparent only when it is absent — a subtle but persistent loosening of the relationship between instruments, a slight blurring of the space between them. Delphius addresses this by design, not as an afterthought.

Corepoint Signal Technology

Every Delphius Speaker Cable is supplied with two Corepoint Signal units, one per channel. Each Corepoint connects to the ERS wire via spade connector and provides the electromagnetic reference that ERS requires to function correctly. The result is a cable architecture in which the signal path and its electromagnetic environment are managed together rather than treated as separate problems.

The Corepoint units also make the Delphius an expandable platform. Each unit accepts an Entreq Max post (sold separately), allowing performance to be extended incrementally as your system develops. The Max range — Max T, Max S, Max Ti, Max Pa, Max Pl and the range-topping Max Supreme — gives you a meaningful upgrade path without replacing the cable itself. With two Corepoint units in a Delphius Speaker Cable, that opportunity is doubled.

Construction

The Delphius Speaker Cable is constructed entirely by hand at Entreq's facility in Sweden. It uses copper and silver conductors, a silver ERS wire and hook, cotton dielectric, and connectors customised to Entreq's exact specifications. Available with spade or banana plug terminations, both featuring custom connectors built to Entreq's specification. Standard length is 2.5m per channel; custom lengths are available on request through your Entreq dealer.

Entreq grounding, Magneus at the entry points, and Protectus, Vibbeaters and MaxMix T2 shaping the electromagnetic field around your components all make the next step more effective.
