Arcam ST25 Network Streamer
The ST25 is an all-new digital audio player expertly crafted in Cambridge, UK, built on an all-new digital audio and streaming platform with a new linear toroidal power supply design and new user interface.
A New Platform, Built for Sound
The ST25 is built on an entirely new 6-layer digital audio and streaming platform. A ground plane runs through the entire board, keeping noise and interference away from the sensitive audio components. At the heart of the DAC stage sits the latest ESS Hyperstream IV topology, configured in a balanced arrangement with advanced jitter elimination — a combination that extracts the full resolution from every source you play.
Linear Power Where It Counts
A new linear toroidal transformer power supply drives the entirety of the ST25's internal operation. This is a deliberate engineering choice: a linear supply runs quieter than a switching design, and that lower noise floor is audible. A separate switching supply handles standby only, where efficiency matters and audio quality does not.
Streaming, Simply Done
Setup is handled through the ARCAM Radia App, which also provides access to Internet Radio, Podcasts, and UPnP playback. Once connected — via Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, dual-band 2.4GHz and 5GHz) — the ST25 supports Apple AirPlay, Google Cast, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, and Roon. Supported file formats include FLAC, WAV (LPCM), AAC, ALAC, AIFF, DSD (up to 256), MP3, OGG, and WMA, with bit depths of 16, 24, and 32 bit, and sample rates up to 32-bit/384kHz. Gapless playback is supported throughout.
Display and Connectivity
The ST25 features a bonded 6.5-inch high-resolution display, showing album artwork and metadata clearly. Outputs include a stereo RCA analogue pair alongside both coaxial (RCA) and optical (Toslink) digital outputs.
