Collection: Optoma Projectors
Optoma have been making projectors for home cinema and large-screen entertainment since 2002, and their DLP projection technology has become one of the most widely respected approaches to high-quality domestic projection. Where 3LCD designs use three separate panels, Optoma's single-chip DLP architecture processes the image through a precision Digital Micromirror Device — producing sharp, punchy images with strong contrast and a level of detail that rewards large screen sizes.
The current laser range represents the full maturity of that work. The UHZ50 brings 4K UHD laser projection into the home at a realistic price point, with HDR10 support and a laser light source that delivers consistent brightness over a lifespan that lamp-based projectors cannot match. The UHZ58LV and UHZ65LV build on that foundation with higher brightness outputs suited to rooms where full light control is not always possible. At the top of the current range, the UHZ68LV brings dual laser illumination and HDR10+ support — a step up in both brightness ceiling and colour volume that dedicated cinema rooms and serious enthusiasts will appreciate.
Across the range, Optoma's laser projectors share a commitment to out-of-the-box image quality and straightforward installation. These are projectors designed to perform without requiring extensive calibration — though the results for those who do calibrate them are better still.
We stock the full Optoma laser projector range at our Norwich showroom, and our team can advise on screen size, throw distance, room lighting, and the right screen to complete the installation. Call ahead and we will have the right model set up and ready to demonstrate.
