Entreq at Martins Hi-Fi — Experience the Latest Core Point Cable Technology

There's a particular kind of scepticism that walks through the door at a cable demonstration. It usually belongs to someone who has spent years building a system they're proud of, and who suspects that anything claiming to improve it at the cable level is probably wishful thinking at best.

It's a fair position. And it's exactly the kind of listener this event is designed for.

On Thursday 15th October 2026, Airt Audio and Martins Hi-Fi are hosting three dedicated listening sessions — at 11:00, 13:00 and 15:00 — exploring the latest developments from Entreq. The focus is Entreq's new core point cable technology: specifically, the Primer Core and Delphius Core cable ranges, and what they can do within a complete, carefully considered hi-fi system.

The System

The demonstration system has been selected to give the cables the best possible context. Source duties are handled by the Métronome DSS-2 and DSC Mini digital source, with Cyrus 80 amplification driving Serhan Swift MU2 loudspeakers. Entreq system grounding is included throughout.

What makes this more than a passive listen is the role of the Entreq Max T. A key part of the demonstration will be changing MAX Posts mid-session — without disconnecting the cables — to explore the audible differences in real time. The idea is straightforward: rather than being told what you should hear, you hear it yourself, under controlled conditions, with the ability to compare directly.

That kind of adaptability is central to what Entreq's core point approach is about. Different systems, different rooms, different listening preferences — the cable ranges are designed to respond to those differences rather than impose a fixed character.

What to Expect

Each session runs across a single focused block of time, with room to ask questions and understand the thinking behind the technology. This isn't a sales pitch dressed as a demonstration. The point is to let the system speak, and to give attendees enough context to form their own conclusions.

If you've been curious about Entreq's grounding philosophy, the Entreq Pluton and Entreq Protectus will also be present in the system, so there's an opportunity to understand how the grounding and cable ranges work together as a coherent whole — rather than as isolated accessories.

The sessions are practical in intent. The demonstration is designed to show how these products behave within a real system, not an idealised one. If you're considering cables at this level, hearing them work — and watching them be adjusted in real time — is considerably more useful than reading about them.
