At the heart of Mu-so 2nd Generation is Naim’s music-streaming platform, developed by 25 engineers over 3 years to offer the very best performance whether playing your own digital music collection, a world of Internet radio, or music streaming services such as TIDAL and Spotify. This acclaimed innovation is uniquely found in Naim music-streaming products, such as its Uniti range and dedicated network players, including the £20,000 flagship ND 555
The all-new multicore Digital Signal Processor (DSP) drives higher performance, providing 2000 MIPS (Million Instructions Per Second) compared to the original Mu-so’s single-core, 150MIPS DSP. You can also hear even more from your music.
We have also created a brand new limiter algorithm that keeps each of Mu-so 2nd Generation’s speaker drivers’ movement under control when at high volume levels. The new limiter, by design; is only active at extreme volume levels, and helps to retain the music’s clarity and increase long term reliability.
Mu-so 2nd Generation’s 450 Watts of music power are joined by improved and highly optimised speaker drivers – a joint development project between Naim and Focal R&D departments.
Focal has been creating benchmark acoustic equipment since 1979, and its expertise has taken speaker-driver precision and performance to new levels.
The Naim for Bentley wireless speaker system is a unique edition of the multi-Award-winning Naim Mu-so 2nd Generation built for class-leading performance, functionality and usability. At the heart of the system is Naim's music streaming platform, offering optimum performance whether playing your digital music collection, Internet radio, or music streaming services.
The Special Edition features distinctive Bentley design cues. The copper accents woven in to the acoustically-transparent speaker grille and the striking heatsink directly reference styling aspects of Bentley's design DNA and the lacquered Ayous wood adds a dramatic, dark finish unique to the system. A recurring lattice pattern surrounding the volume dial takes inspiration from the diamond shapes of Bentley's seat quilting and distinctive headlamps.
Naim Mu-so Wood Edition
The Naim Muso Wood Edition combines authentic audio expertise with the latest music-streaming technology and easy playback from all your devices – for a better class experience of the music, radio, podcasts and TV you love. Sounds excellent on its own, and awesome as part of a multi-room music set-up: group with other Naim players and systems at the touch of a button, any AirPlay 2 speaker or with Chromecast built-in devices. Explore and control your music via the Naim App, the tactile illuminated dial or the supplied remote control. Or try Google Assistant and Apple Siri voice control support. There is even Room Compensation, to ensure your Mu-so Wood Edition sounds at its best wherever you want it to entertain you.
