Focal Headphones

Focal have been designing and manufacturing loudspeakers in Saint-Étienne, France, since 1979. What began as a specialist driver manufacturer — supplying other brands before deciding to build complete loudspeakers under their own name — has become one of the most respected names in high-end audio, with a product range that now extends from accessible standmounters to statement floorstanders and some of the finest headphones in the world.

The thing that distinguishes Focal is in-house manufacturing at a level almost no other brand can match. The Beryllium tweeters, the Flax cone midrange drivers, the W-cone woofers — each one designed, developed and produced in France by Focal's own engineers. That level of control over every element of the transducer is what gives Focal loudspeakers and headphones their characteristic combination of detail, dynamics and tonal accuracy.
