The wooden body is chosen for its electromagnetic neutrality — it allows the active materials inside to do their work without interference from the housing. The threaded post on every Corepoint unit and Entreq ground box accepts the standard wooden cap supplied, or any Entreq Max post in its place. Max Supreme fits in exactly the same way, attaching to the threaded post and holding the ERS wire or grounding cable in position.
