TRUEPLAY makes the Sonos wireless speaker acoustically aware and adaptable. By recognising the distinct acoustic qualities of any space, the PLAY 5's audio tech will fine-tune all six drivers to unearth sound which is bespoke to the room.
This works in the same way even if you pair it with a second PLAY:5 - each speaker will intelligently sense its orientation, then adjust its output to deliver a sweet spot that's wider in horizontal mode or more focused and intense when positioned vertically.

Control all your music and streaming services from one single app. Simply download the free Sonos Controller app onto your Smartphone, tablet or computer and turn it into a full-fledged Sonos Controller that works over your home Wi-Fi network.*

And with top-panel controls, you can control your music right from the speaker. Its touch interface is simple and convenient; just tap for volume up/down and swipe for next/previous track.

Wireless play
With its ability to connect to the home Wi-Fi, the PLAY:5 liberates the music on your computer and the Internet so you can play it all over the house. Wherever there's a player, you can listen to your entire collection of iTunes music, plus thousands of free Internet radio stations. And it works seamlessly with the most popular music services so you can stream millions of songs and stations from the Internet to the rooms of your choice. You can even connect the PLAY:5 to your favorite audio sources such as an iPod or CD player and listen to all the Sonos players throughout your house.

Fill your home with music
If you want to create a true surround sound experience, add two PLAY:5 speakers to a PLAYBAR and SUB. Using the app, you can even control what music is playing in every room in your house, from anywhere in your house.
